Hi! My name is Emily and I am currently living on the East Coast of Canada. I’m a substitute teacher by trade but I love to cook and bake, and create in general. I started this blog to document my foray into sewing, and the trials and tribulations that come with it.
I enjoy looking at things in a different light, I particularly like to dissect and scientifically examine just about everything! I think it comes with being a Biology major that loves all things science, discovery and exploration. I believe that is why sewing was so appealing to me in the first place. The methodical nature, the constructive element and the successive and organized steps are all very appealing to a science nerd like me.
Besides using this blog as a way to document my new found hobby of sewing, I’ve also incorporated some of my old hobbies like art, cooking and baking. And in order to make a well rounded blog that represents me I fully intend on adding a dash of sarcasm, silliness and a major dose of my personality. Just to keep things exciting!
